Within most industries, including social housing, they are crucial to keeping businesses organized and functioning to a successful and high standard. No one is ever going to discredit the advantages of best practice because it shapes entire industries however, within the realms of innovation, best practice has to ability to kill it completely.

Earlier this month we hosted our 4th place-based working webinar and were excited to introduce you to our second place-based prototype: South Lichfield. This pilot project, led by Helen Minchin, offers a fascinating glimpse into how place-based working can transform our relationships with customers and communities.
At Bromford we’re moving to “place-based working” as one of our strategic objectives, which essentially means we won’t organise ourselves and deliver services in the same way across our whole geography. We recognise that a one-size fits all approach doesn’t work that well, and adapting ourselves to what the community wants from us is key for thriving customers and cohesive neighbourhoods.
